Interesting. we had the same problem this year w/ Dale. like you said, it
was all over the press and then another screen before it flows into our
settling pans. We grow dale every year and never had that issue before. we
even seem to get some of the pulp into the cook pan. when we take off the
sryup, it goes through a 100 mesh SS screen. we would get a build up on the
screen - at least it kept it out of the final syrup.
we are in NE MO.
