Forrest,

Here is an idea. Where the teeth are broken or completely missing drill and
tap the space and screw bolts into the taped holes. Cut the bolds to the
proper high and start welding from the base to the top of the bolts. (Both
sides) After building it up larger than the tooth needs to be grind or file
the tooth to proper shape and size. The weld will more than likely not hold
to the cast iron gear but it will adhere to the bolts that now will not be
able to unscrew. May take one or two bolts for a partially broken tooth or
maybe 4 or 5 bolts for a completely missing tooth. I have a repaired tooth
that has been holding for years on a #27.

Hello all,

I am in need of parts for a Goldens' #27. I have a few gears that have
missing or partially broken teeth. I need the small gear that turns
the large roller gear and the small roller gears. I would also like
to hear from anyone that has had success with repairing gear teeth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Forrest
