[Syrupmakers] Just getting started.

I haven't seen a mill that I could afford. Do you have any ideas on how I
could build one for very little money. I'm in North west tennessee. The
closest place with a mill (that I've found) is 2 hours away. I'm only
growing 70 plants.
Also my wife is getting a swarm of guinea fowl. Will they be a problem for
my plants?
