<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif;font-size:14pt"><div>This Saturday the Southern Syrupmakers Association will hold their annual meeting and syrup cooking at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement in Blountstown, FL. Starting time is about 8 a.m. Willard Smith recently obtained a tractor-mounted cane cutter built in 1970 and has refurbished it. It is ready to demonstrate to us on Saturday. </div><div>We will also discuss varieties of sugarcane with stalks for show-and-tell. Members sometimes bring their favorite varieties to show us. </div><div>It is an all day event that usually winds down by 3 p.m. after the syrup has been bottled.
