Cathy,

We are in Statesboro and our cane is flat too. We have had this happen yearly to some degree...some years worse then others. We've always just left it until time to harvest it which is a challenge with the stalks crisscrossed as they are.

Hope y'all didn't have much damage your way!

Each of these rows are bout 100' long. They were beautiful and then the high winds came thru. I have them laying in every direction. I don't know what to do. I tried to stand some back up but it wasn't easy and I was afraid of popping the cane off. Should I just leave them? I never remember any thing like this with my dad's patch. Any advice is welcome.
