[Syrupmakers] Looking for gears to mechanize my vertical mill with my tractor.

Hi Claude,

I think what you are looking for are not gears but sprockets and chain 
.  I have used the ones from an old Manure spreader for assorted 
projects over the years such as to drive the sawdust conveyor chain on 
my antique sawmill. Old spreaders can often be found abandoned in 
hedgerows and such on old farms if the fellows collecting scrap metal 
have not got them all in your area.  Worth a look see anyway.  Another 
place to look is in Tractor parts salvage yards if there are such in 
your area.
