[Syrupmakers] Rebuild of a Chattnooga no. 12 cane mill

Jerry,     They have to be trimmed to fit at a machine shop, usually. Not too expensive. Lasts a LONG time. Not so hazardous as lead.                     RichardIt is really more of a sleeve, I guess.

I also sand blasted everything and primed and painted parts. I used food grade grease for the gears. There's a place in NC you can order lead free Babbitt to pore the barrings. Other then that these mills are very simple and don't have to many parts. Have Fun!!
