Thanks, Ken! And thanks to Tracie for the "speedy recover" of the Syupmakers forum! It was only 2 days. Great.
I have an announcement or 2 to get posted.

This is almost as exciting as the FSU score last night :)

Thanks to Tracie Moore, the syrupmakers list has a new home.  She has graciously
provided us with webspace as well as a listserv that runs Mailman which I have been
using for 11 years.  The websites should be back and running in the next few days.

I really appreciate all the kind words in response to my "farewell" post to the list
the other day.  Kind of akin to reading your obituary while you are still alive ;-)
I will continue to manage the list, but should anything happen to me, have a backup
in Tracie.  My wife has worried for years about what happens to my online "stuff"
when I am no longer able, and though I am still a pretty active 74 year old, my
mortality is more in the back of my mind than it used to be.

I was surprised that only two people out of the 380+ list members decided to opt
out of the list.

Now we can get down to the business of syrupmaking!

Ken
